Interim Group Accountant

Based in Thame, Oxfordshire, our well established client with a global client base is a looking for an experienced accountant to join their team on an initial 3 interim basis (inside IR35) as Group Accountant.

This job would suit either a qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant or someone qualified by experience with good all round accounting knowledge to be responsible for consolidating 7 businesses across the Group.

This company has operations across the world and is extremely well regarded in its field. This position has materialised due to positive changes in the business that have resulted in the need for an extra pair of hands to help work closely with senior management consolidating recently acquired businesses.

The successful individual will either be ACA or ACCA or CIMA qualified or qualified by experience with experience of budgets, forecasting, P&L and Balance Sheet and any knowledge of a Group or Regional Head Office function would be advantageous but not essential.

Duties will include:

The preparation of the companies' consolidated monthly management accountsThe preparation of the half yearly companies' group reporting packageThe accounting for certain Group-wide costs that are held in the booksThe preparation of the Group's Year End and Interim Accounts and assisting with Group auditResponding to adhoc technical accounting queries that arise from the subsidiaries
