Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a leading and well-established manufacturing group to recruit for a driven and dynamic Management Accountant, based in Bourton-On-The-Water, Gloucestershire with a hybrid of remote/office working. Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager this is a progressive role working within a close-knit accounting function, where you will take ownership of Management Accounts, Budgeting/Forecasting and Stock Control while also being involved in projects to develop the ERP systems. This position is best suited to a part qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA accountant looking to progress, candidates qualified by experience will also be considered.

Your new role

Your key duties will involve monthly management accounts for various entities within the group and related duties, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes along with cash control and cash flow forecasting. You will manage stock control including reporting and costings processes, working capital management and assist with develop of ERP systems. You will be involved in various financial projects to further support business growth and cover the Finance Manager when needed. Duties will develop as the Group grows further.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this exciting and hands-on Management Accountant role, you will need experience within a similar position, ideally part qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA studying towards full qualification, candidates qualified by experience will be considered. You will have strong MS excel skills, experience of management accounts, budgeting and forecasting along with being trained in a range of financial systems. You will have strong communication skills to build both internal and external relationships, used to managing workloads and meeting time-constraint deadlines. Experience within the manufacturing/engineering sector and knowledge of ERP systems would be advantageous but not essential.

This progressive Management Accountant role is offering a salary between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, based in Bourton-On-The-Water, Gloucestershire with remote/office working.
