Part-time finance business partner role (May to December 22)

3 day a week maternity cover role starting in May

• maternity cover
• 3 days per week (only 1 day in the office each week)
• May to December 2022
• Must be qualified or part qualified
• Must have finance business partner experience
• Ideally social housing or charity accounting (not essential)
• daily rate, paid weekly
• 1 stage Teams interview process

Jointly, as a team, the finance business partners are responsible for:

Preparation and maintenance of monthly accounts and production of the annual financial statements.

Analysis of both financial and non-financial information leading to insights needed to improve the performance of the business

Maintaining the financial integrity of the accounting package including maintenance and development.

Budget monitoring and assisting with the co-ordination and preparation of budgets, key performance indicators, forecasts and the financial plan.

Review cash flow monitoring, calculate optimum gift aid payments and tax calculations as required.

Liaise with internal and external auditors as required to enable them to complete their work within agreed timescales

VAT Calculations and returns

Undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required by the Group head of finance or Group finance director.
