Financial Accountant required in Bristol

We're delighted to be partnering with a rapidly growing SME business located in Bristol to recruit a Financial Accountant.

This is an ideal role for a qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) who is from a practice background. It provides a good opportunity to develop strong technical accounting skills and gain some exposure in a fast growing, industry role.

The organisation operates a hybrid working policy and offers a positive team working culture.
Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant include:
* Monthly accounting processes, including posting month-end journals
* Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
* Reviewing reconciliations prepared by Financial Operations
* Monthly review of P&L and BS movements
* Responsible for UK stock counts
* Assist the Payroll Manager to generate payroll journals, including reconciliation of PAYE & NI Accounts
* Liaising with department heads and the wider business to develop accounting processes
* Assist with various projects that improve financial control efficiencies and accuracy of reporting
* Supporting the year-end audit
