Your new role
Reporting into the CFO this is a broad and varied role with key duties and responsibilities including:

• Management of monthly close process
• Compliance to accounting standards and ownership of all statutory returns - VAT, Corporation Tax, Statutory accounts
• Working capital and cashflow management
• Continues process and controls development
• Management of audit processes
• Staff management

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant with post qualification experience within the insurance sector, preferably broking. You will need strong IFRS reporting and excellent interpersonal skills. You will need to lead a team but also be hands on in your approach, not being afraid to roll up your sleeves and get into the detail when required.
