I am currently looking for someone who is passionate about Internal Audit to deliver fair customer outcomes and robust, well-controlled processes. This is within a well-established retail and commercial bank with flexible working in place at either Edinburgh or Gloucester.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who wants to develop their professional career in Internal Audit. You will work as part of a team to deliver the audit plan, completing key documentation in line with audit methodology and share your findings with various stakeholders.

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Project management skills
- Highly organised with attention to detail
- Ability to manage relationships and influence people
- A good understanding of retail banking and, in particular, bank operational processes
- An understanding of risk and control
- A positive, proactive attitude, willing to promote change and take others on the journey
What we need tomorrow

- Develop a good understanding of risk and control and an ability to apply this using audit methodology, this will be supported by training on the job
- Have or a desire to work towards a relevant audit qualification (IIA, ACCA, ACA)
- Proactively develops their own skills to learn about the business and the wider external competitive and regulatory environment
- A willingness to take forward departmental initiatives and share knowledge gained with others
