Finance Analyst

Newly created Finance Analyst opportunity reporting to the FP&A Manager. This is a varied role involved in budget and forecasting processes, financial analysis, business partnering key stakeholders and analytics project work. You will join a collaborative team, and become a valued team member from day one.

My client is a global professional services business, with a large finance hub based in Leeds. Due to recent success, they are now looking to recruit a new Finance Analyst in the FP&A team, to support an increased workload and growth in the team.

Description

As Finance Analyst, your duties will include:

• Supporting the FP&A Manager in the annual budget and quarterly forecasting process, liaising with key stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of the financial planning cycle
• Providing support for the UK region's monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to Group
• Liaising with Group Finance and colleagues internationally to ensure alignment of accounting policies and delivery of timely and accurate information.
• Maintenance of the budgeting/forecasting tool
• Strategic development of the company's BI and reporting functionality
• Business partnering senior finance leaders to support with key business decision making
• Identifying opportunities to improve and develop BI solutions
• Ad hoc project work and support on company initiatives
• Ad hoc support to wider finance team

Profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload
• Used to working in a changing and fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated business partnering skills- ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
• Enthusiasm and commitment
