Senior Accountant

Fast growing business seeking a hands on accountant with strong technical skills

Your new company
An agile, ambitious business who have tripled in size in recent years seek to appoint a technically astute accountant with strong stakeholder engagement skills. As the company continues to grow this role would suit a candidate eager to push beyond this role who relishes working within a fast paced environment.

Your new role
You will be responsible for preparing a range of internal and external reports providing insight across your portfolio on a monthly basis. Furthermore you will prepare & review VAT and corporate tax returns; review bank reconciliations whilst supporting the annual audit process. You will support a range of process improvement projects including a major finance system implementation as the company seeks to improve their management reporting capabilities in the coming months and years.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified (or soon to qualify) accountant with strong technical reporting skills. Those trained within the chartered profession will be held in a positive light. Someone who enjoys partnering with internal and external stakeholders is essential as well as a willingness to juggle both "business as usual" tasks as well as ad-hoc duties.
