Your remit will include the preparation of timely, accurate financial information for reporting into the Head of Finance within the agreed deadlines. You will be responsible for the financial control and transaction processing within the business unit, overseeing the day-to-day activities and ensuring quality financial information is provided and maintained in accordance with group procedures and policies.

Description

  • Being a strong partner for the Head of Finance
  • Producing high-quality weekly, monthly, and annual management information to strict reporting deadlines
  • Ownership of the monthly balance sheet reconciliation pack (produced to a high standard)
  • Highlight and analyse monthly operating results while reporting on variances and communicating findings back to Head of Finance
  • Oversee production of accurate weekly cashflow
  • Producing and reviewing budget reports for group submission
  • Ensuring the audit process for the Business Unit and Joint Ventures is completed within deadlines
  • Always Safeguarding the assets of the business through high quality controls
  • Producing and updating timely data for reporting KPI's
  • Maintaining Plot Database

Profile

  • Fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 5 years post qualified experience
  • Experience of implementing new processes and procedures and consistently challenging such processes to improve the quality of output
  • Experience of working to strict reporting deadlines
  • Focus on controls and procedures with a high attention to detail
  • Excel to an advanced standard
  • Strong management skills with experience in developing teams
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Experience of dealing with management on a regular basis to provide clear, concise, accurate information
