Lead and assist in the full tax life cycle for operations and activities in the UK and wider jurisdictions

Supporting the Senior Tax Manager with the compliance and reporting responsibilities for the tax function

Description

  • Participate in regional tax planning and restructuring cross-border projects
  • Analyse impact of proposed and enacted tax law changes both at the local country
  • Lead the annual UK CFC analysis
  • Managing the UK corporate tax return process
  • Support the Tax Accounting group in their quarterly tax provision
  • Lead projects to improve the tax reporting and compliance processes
  • Lead in the full tax life cycle

Profile

  • ACCA or ACA or CTA qualified
  • Fluent in English
  • At least 4 years experience of working for a multinational company would be beneficial
  • At least 4-6 years experience working with a big 4 or 2nd tier firm and in a large corporate tax environment
  • Experience in preparing large corporate tax returns
  • Experience with tax accounting under US GAAP and IFRS

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Good analytical skills, numerically very strong and experienced in process management
  • Works well with others
  • Works well with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment which requires prioritization and ability to multi-task
  • Highly self-motivated; takes initiative; identifies and addresses issues; works efficiently with attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Job Offer

  • Circa 61k basic salary
