A vibrant growing professional services and technology business in West London are recruiting for a Head of Finance. Reporting into the CFO, this is an exciting unique opportunity. Located in a corporate friendly head office, this business supply to many leading FTSE businesses. A privately owned SME they are going through an exciting period of change, which adds to the unique experience of this position. This period of change includes a systems implementation, an acquisition and a sale.

Your new role.
Reporting to a passionate and supportive CFO, this role will take the applicant on a career defining journey.
To start with you will be responsible for the management and financial reporting, P&L and cash flow.
Financial statements and job costing. You will ensure month end reporting is completed on time.
You will train and develop the finance team, as well as use new technology to improve the financial control process and procedures.
Other duties will include managing the audit and the external payroll provider
Over time you will take responsibility for some key business analysis, and then eventually be trained on essential business partnering giving you exposure to key stakeholders, including the CEO
Due to the changing environment you will get exposure to acquisitions, a sale and a systems implementation.

What you'll need to succeed.
You will be an ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified accountant, who is happy doing traditional month end and a financial control role for at least a year. After this time the role will develop more into financial analysis, and eventually business partnering. This role would suit someone who has a vision of being a future Finance Director.
You will have solid reporting experience, and know what good looks like from either an accounting firm or from a corporate or PE backed business. You will be able to work to strict deadlines, have attention to detail but also you will be hungry to grow and develop.

What you'll get in return
Salary guide £65,000 to £75,000 depending on experience. Profit related bonus, can be up to 20% of the annual salary level, pension and private healthcare. Hybrid working culture, (however you will be expected to be in the office more at certain times of the year) The chance to work internationally if you wish.
