Your new firm
A National Firm of Chartered Accountants are looking to appoint an experienced accounts & audit manager to join their successful and growing Manchester office. This is a great opportunity for an Accounts & Audit Manager to join a well recognised firm with opportunities to progress within the senior leadership team.

Your new role
As an Accounts & Audit Manager you will be allocated a portfolio of clients with a fee income of circa 300k consisting of OMBs, UK subsidiaries of overseas businesses and larger corporate groups within the local Greater Manchester region.

As an Accounts & Audit Manager you will take responsibility for managing and overseeing the delivery of both accountancy and audit services. Day to day responsibilities include managing and organising the planning of the team, managing the assignment budgets, delegating and reviewing audit and accounts files, leading client meetings and ensuring all work is filed on time and any queries with the clients are resolved.

Over time there is the opportunity to progress to gain your RI status, taking an active role in pitching for new work with progression through to partnership for the right candidate.

What you'll need to succeed
This National Firm of Chartered Accountants are looking to speak with ambitious an Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA) with a considerable level of PQE who can demonstrate a proven track record of managing an audit portfolio. As this will be a mixed portfolio the firm are ideally seeking an experienced manager who has worked within a General Practice however applications from the Top 10 firms will also be welcomed.

The firm are seeking an ambitious and driven practice professional and the partners will consider applicants with working knowledge of UK accounting legislation who are looking to relocate to Manchester.
