QBE Management Accountant for a manufacturing SME in West Bromwich.
Your new company
Hays are delighted to be working exclusively with a SME manufacturing company based in West Bromwich. The company are very niche in their field and the role is based 5 days per week in the office.
Your new role
You will be supporting the Head of Finance in a lean finance team. Key duties are included below:
* To assist the Financial Controller to prepare accurate and timely management information
* To prepare and post journals in the preparation of the management accounts
* To assist in the checking of data that helps to build up the management accounts
* To accurate check, record and post stock movements
* Payroll duties
* To reconcile bank accounts on a daily basis
* To ensure foreign currency conversion rates are accurately maintained within the Navision System
* To help to prepare VAT, PAYE, Payroll Deductions and ensure payment is made in a timely manner.
* To prepare management reports on spend and usage of items
* To be able to check and ensure that supplier payments are made in a timely and accurate manner
* Ad hoc reporting using Excel.
* Experience of MS Dynamics NAV and SAGE Payroll is a preferred.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced QBE Management Accountant ideally with a background in manufacturing or similar and be happy working in a busy hands on role.
What you'll get in return
A generous salary between £30,000-£40,000 plus 25 days holiday and pension.
