Tax Projects Manager

Responsible for delivering the specialist tax advice and planning to a portfolio of clients and on special projects. You also ensure that all team members under your supervision receive the necessary on the job training and support to meet business and personal goals.

Description

• Manage a portfolio of clients.
• Collaborate and support team members and clients in a timely and accurate manner within agreed limits of responsibility, including providing tax compliance advice.
• Undertake ad hoc tax projects / advisory work for new clients and those within the firm's existing portfolio.
• Progress work and billing, ensuring project budgets are met.
• Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and the application of this knowledge to client's affairs.
• Identify further opportunities within existing projects and action these as appropriate.
• Contribute to the development of junior team member's technical ability and professional growth.
• Build and maintain a close working relationship with clients to understand their needs and to identify opportunities for cross selling of other group services.
• Respect client confidentiality and report any issues which may affect client relationships to the appropriate senior team member, including any concerns which may affect the firm's client relationship, e. money laundering, unethical business practice, complaints.

Profile

• ATT and/or CTA Qualified
• Background of tax compliance in practice
• Experience with high earner taxpayers and medical clients is desirable
• Ability to manage your own workload and deliver on numerous projects simultaneously
