Management Accountant

The management accountant will be required to demonstrate technical accounting knowledge in preparing monthly management accounts and month end reconciliations within the deadlines.

Client Details

My client is a Vietnamese street food restaurant group founded by husband-and-wife team in 2005.

Their first restaurant opened in 2005 in Clerkenwell and has since expanded to 33 restaurants and 5 cloud kitchen locations across the UK. My client's food is cooked fresh in each restaurant every day, and its menu is suitable for many different diets including gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan.

Having come out of the Covid crisis with strong performance and with additional funding secured. This will enable the roll-out to continue from the current 38 sites.

Description

The responsibilities of the Management Accountant are, but not limited to:

• Ownership of the monthly management accounts, including meeting all deadlines and ensuring accuracy is
  maintained
• Ownership of all month end balance sheet reconciliations, including timely deliverance and maintenance of overs and under schedule
• Management of one direct reports (Accounts Payable)
• Posting of all payroll journals and reconciliations

Profile

The successful Management Accountant will be:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
• Have multi-site hospitality (retail will be considered) organisations
• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel
