Your new role
In this Nelson based Semi Senior Accountant job you will be in charge of preparing year-end accounts from start to review for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships. On top of this, your duties will include preparation of corporate tax returns, monthly & quarterly management accounts, bookkeeping and quarterly VAT returns. The software packages that you will use in this role are Iris Accounts, Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.
What you'll need to succeed
For this Nelson based Semi Senior Accountant job the partners are firstly looking for someone who has 2+ years' experience working in an accountancy practice and who is confident preparing year-end accounts from start to finish. You should also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to enable you to build strong relationships with your clients and team members.
