This is a hands on stakeholder engagement role within the Public Sector
Client Details
My client is a large Public Sector organisation with sites based near Cardiff.
Description
Reporting to a Senior Finance Manager, the Finance Business Partner plays a pivotal role in the success of the department.
As the FBP, you will be assigned a budgetary area within the organisation that currently has a budget of c£200m.
Your role as FBP will be to work very closely with the senior stakeholders across this directorate and influence and engage them on the finances of their departments.
You will perform Month End close down duties and ensure that the ledgers are all appropriately maintained.
Profile
Ideally you will be a fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA)
You will have experience of working in a business partnering capacity with senior stakeholders across an organisation.
You will have excellent management accounting skills
you will have excellent interpersonal skills.
you will have excellent systems skills including excel.
Ideally you will have Public Sector, NHS or any other large company FBP experience
Job Offer
an initial 6 month temporary assignment.
This may be extended or gop perm for the right person]
Hybrid working - 1 day a week in the office based near Cardiff
Salary up to £28 ph paye or £32 ph umbrella company
