Hays Accountancy & Finance are exclusively partnering with a leading and well-established International Manufacturing Group based in Leominster, Herefordshire to recruit for a dynamic, experienced, and driven Senior Management Accountant. A permanent accounting role offering remote/office hybrid working, responsible for the preparation of monthly accounts for various sites within the Group. Supporting the Financial Controller and partnering with non-finance to ensure correct processes are maintained. Your new role

Your key duties will involve working with the Finance Shared Service Centre to prepare monthly management accounts, ancillary reports, and provide commentary against budget, forecast and last year. You will prepare monthly & quarterly forecasts, maintain, and improve the standard costing systems, along with customer profitability assessments to support the commercial teams. You will prepare annual budgets, review customer credit limits with analysis, maintain awareness of business activities with their impact on financial results, along with developing/preparing reports for site management for example KPI's. You will assist with CAPEX project proposals, monitor project spend, assist with external and group advisors including auditors, insurers, and treasury along with maintaining intercompany transfer pricing. You will work with various sites and the Finance Shared Service Centre to ensure correct processes are maintained, deputise for the wider finance team as required and be involved in various financial projects.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this hands-on and varied Senior Management Accountant role, you will need experience within a similar position, ideally CIMA/ACCA/ACA Part-Qualified/Qualified or qualified by experience. You will have high levels of drive, accurate attention to detail, strong communication skills to partner with non-finance and finance teams from various sites, along with being able to prioritise duties with changing demands. You will have strong IT skills including MS excel, ERP systems and data warehouse programmes, along with being a quick learner with an analytical mind-set. Experience within the manufacturing sector with exposure to both commercial/operational teams would be advantageous but not essential, along with Finance Shared Service experience.

What you'll get in return

This progressive Senior Management Accountant role is offering a salary between £38,000 - £45,000 per annum based in Leominster, Herefordshire dependable on experience with remote/office working hybrid, contributed pension scheme, study package if applicable and further group benefits.
