Goodman Masson have partnered with the largest indoor ski slope operator in the UK on their search for an Accounts Payable Administrator on a 5 month fixed term contract.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the post is responsible for maintaining the purchase order list alongside full management of payment runs, liaising with managers to resolve queries and assist with ad hoc tasks. Please note that this role requires you to be in the London office 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create purchase orders as required
  • Maintain purchase order list, liaising with managers to resolve queries
  • Receive invoices and match to purchase orders
  • Ensure purchase orders and invoices are approved in line with agreed process
  • Management of payment runs
  • Input invoices into purchase ledger system
  • Communicate with site managers to resolve invoice queries
  • Vendor statement reconciliations
  • Reconcile fixed asset register
  • Support month end processes
  • Proactively support finance function with ad hoc tasks

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience managing purchase ledger, reconciliations and transactional tasks
  • Quick learner with a flexible, proactive approach
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Positive approach to problem-solving.
  • Clear communicator and professional operator with high standards of achievement
  • Committed and diligent working style
  • Strong judgement, drive and influencing skills
