Business Unit Head of Finance

3 days home-working per week, some travel to Hull and West Midlands each week

Your new company
Our client, a highly successful, global, leading manufacturing business with a strong environmental commitment, is looking to recruit to the job of Business Unit Head of Finance for one of it's key UK Divisions. Home-based, the role will involve weekly travel to sites in Hull and the West Midlands.

Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director, your focus will be to lead and manage teams and streamline information flows across the sites, consolidate the accounts, review working capital, cash, stock levels etc., and to improve the consistency of reporting. You will ensure adherence to internal control frameworks, drive IT/systems integration and implementation projects and not be afraid to challenge the status-quo.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a professionally qualified Accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA, ICAS) with extensive experience of financial management and preferably with the FMCG manufacturing sector. You will be an effective team leader, able to develop and mentor teams, be highly business 'savvy' and be able to win the confidence of those around you both in finance and the wider business community.
