The Opportunity

Modern, forward-thinking and highly respected independent firm of accountants have an interesting opportunity for an experienced part qualified, qualified or QBE Accountant.  You’ll join a collaborative and upbeat team within a business that is investing in growth and excellence (for them and their varied client portfolio).

This is a firm with strong values and a superb track record.  Almost all clients in their impressive portfolio joined via recommendation and referral.  (Clients range from £1m to £50m turnover).

You will benefit from working for partners that actively encourage a good degree of work life balance.  The role is office based (Enfield). 

The role

Your remit is challenging and varied. You will support an extremely diverse (and expanding) group of clients across a host of interesting operating sectors. 

Your role will involve lots of client contact and ownership.  You’ll enjoy a mix of business as usual accounting alongside plenty of stimulating project exposure. The role would suit someone with a firm foundation of client support who is seeking a grown up environment with a high degree of sensible flexibility. 

You’ll have lots of autonomy and certainly no micro-management.

You will need

As Senior Accountant you will need:

• A formal qualification (ACCA / ACA) ideally
• A proven track record within a practice environment.
• A professional and proactive approach to supporting clients with routine and ad hoc services.
• Excellent core accounting skills – excellent double entry and awareness of FRS102.
• Strong IT skills – ideally experience of Sage 50, Quickbooks / Xero.
• To be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
