Commercial Accountant

As a Commercial Accountant you will support the Senior Management Team on the development of the business which will allow you to have a lot of interaction with the senior team.

The business is data rich and puts a lot of focus on the adoption of technology. Building out live reporting data is a key part of the role as well as interpreting business performance.

My client is a Private Equity backed E-Commerce Retail business that has experienced 100% year on year growth for the past few years and is continuing to grow via acquisition and also exploring new revenue streams. The business is also looking to extend their growth aspirations into Europe.

Description

• Preparation of management accounts above gross profit and creation of month end file support.
• Preparation of board pack inputs and interpretation of the results.
• Creation of Tableau dashboards for the operational and sales areas of the business with the support of the Commercial FC.
• Supporting year end audit for areas up to gross profit.
• Supporting projects (new product, sales initiatives, acquisition integration etc.) as they arise).
• Cashflow analysis and forecasting including the factoring facility.

Profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Excellent Excel skills and IT skills generally able to analyse and interpret large dat sets.
• Use of using Tableau / Alteryx would be advantageous but is not essential but a desire to learn these packages and having the right analytical approach is key.
• Challenge the status quo and look to improve the reporting environment.
• Able to manage and prioritise work load in fast moving environment
• Self starter, commercially focused and solution orientated
