FP&A Analyst

SF Recruitment are working with a large Solihull based business in the recruitment of an FP&A analyst.

We are seeking a part qualified/finalist ACCA/CIMA accountant with experience of the following:

- Business Partnering, Financial Reporting experience, Month End reporting,
- Budget and Reforecast production and reporting
- Exposure to Business Analysis, Processes Review, Insight delivery

Within this role you will be able to take ownership of the Business Profit Centre's, understand the key financial drivers.

Provide advice, support and challenge to Managers at various levels, across the business with an ability to explain numbers in "non-financial language"

Key duties:

• Improving the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance, to support decision makers
• Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to operational activity and business strategies
• Providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial and financial decision impacts are understood and monitored
• Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with people at all levels in the business
• Support Business decision makers through process understanding, application of relevant analytical approach to information provision, financial awareness, applying relevant attention to details and due diligence
• Annual Budget process and quarterly reforecast process
• Analysis of financial and non-financial data, production of business proposals and cost benefits proposals and monitoring benefits delivery

This is an excellent opportunity to develop from management accountant/business partner/finance analyst towards an FP&A role working within a structured team and reporting to the FP & A Manager.
