Our client is a successful and ambitious service provider, based in Birmingham, West Midlands. An exciting new Finance Director opportunity has been created in order to support the demands from the business for increased strategic and commercial input from finance on their next phase of expansion.
Description
Reporting to the Managing Director and forming part of the senior leadership team, the role takes responsibility for the financial stewardship of the business operations, for building and developing a best-in-class finance team and adding value through identifying and implementing opportunities to generate revenue and reduce costs.
Key duties to include:
- Evaluating financial systems and processes.
- Leading and developing the finance team.
- Enforcing financial strategies and regulations.
- Overseeing budgeting, reporting and forecasting.
- Reporting to stakeholders and board members.
Profile
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a track record of finance leadership positions, business partnering and continuous improvement.
Experience within a customer-centric business, ideally agile, SME environments, is desirable.
First class communication skills at all levels of a business and a hands-on approach to the role of FD are essential.
Job Offer
£80,000 - £90,000 + benefits package
