Head of Finance Reporting

Provide financial leadership of the business and manage all areas of financial performance, you will working with the Senior Management Team. You will be the line manager to the financial reporting team and manage different areas of the finance business unit.

Our client, a well known & growing business based in Portsmouth are looking for a Head of Finance Reporting to join their Accountancy team on an initial 6 months basis

Description

Head of Finance Reporting:

• Responsible for monthly accounts, forecasts, strategic plans, budgets and to deliver Sector and Group reporting.
• Ensure all relevant controls are in place to provide accurate financial information in an timely manner, appropriate format and to make sure all financial data is correct to the Group, Sector and Business management Team.
• Provide working capital management, technical advice and a financial support function that covers credit control.
• The provision of statutory reporting e. statutory accounts, national statistics for relevant legal entities.
• Have strong relationships with key steakholders, auditors, SSC, Sector and Group
• Lead and manage the reporting team to ensure all PDR's and are delivered and to ensure the skills and responsibilities meet the business requirements
• Meet or exceed the KPI's in the Service Level Agreements (TBD)
• Oversee systems e. maintenance of SAP projects, management of the chart of accounts and coding structure, period and year end closure.

Profile

• Recognised professional qualification. ACA/ACCA/ACMA

Job Offer

Day Rate Circa £600 per day
