Investigo are working alongside an innovative real estate and property organisation based in Finchley to recruit for an ambitious junior finance professional to join their Finchley based team. They operate a hybrid working model with both office based and home working supported. This role would suit a junior professional starting out their career or someone looking to gain more month end exposure to progress with their ACCA or CIMA qualifications.

Responsibilities

Assisting with production of the monthly financial results including but not limited to

  • Preparing/posting journals
  • Assisting with the preparation of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations including bank reconciliations (for all of the group's bank account).
  • Assisting with P&L analysis
  • Raising POs for Head Office and preparing Head Office accruals
  • Approving POs above local limits
  • Reconciliation and processing of annual service charge accounts across the Group's property portfolio
  • Calculation of annual insurance invoice charges
  • Supporting in the supplier and customer ledger maintenance
  • Review of bank payments to customers/suppliers
  • Review of customer credit notes
  • Review New Supplier details & payments.
  • Dealing with all accounting system related queries. (e System Security, Purchase Order Production etc.)
  • Assisting with preparation of the statutory accounts
  • Supporting the wider Finance team with adhoc queries as required.

Person Specifcation

  • CIMA/ACCA trainee
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to adhere to strict time deadlines.
  • Excellent communication
  • Highly proficient in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs)
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player.
