Financial Accountant

A massively popular and reputable transport company is hiring a Financial/Project accountant to manage the accounts payable and be proactive with the system (D365). The rate is £350-£400 (tbc) and the length of the contract is 3 months. It is a flexible role with 2/3 days required in the office.

Your new role
You will be required to provide high quality financial accounting and manage both systems and processes. You will be reporting into the Financial Director.

Your key responsibilities:
Report on Capital Expenditure (both cash and cost)
Develop KPI's around working capital
Be proactive in managing the system (D365), writing reports, working with HSO to enhance functionality of the system
Establish, maintain, and develop best financial practice by the implementation of controls and procedures and delegated financial authority for debtor and creditor processors
Liaise with the other finance teams to ensure balance sheets and forecasts are consistent with business activities reflected through profit/loss

What you'll need to succeed
Experience working with Capital Expenditure
Prior Management of Transaction Processing teams
ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualification (PQE necessary)
Knowledge of UK GAAP, Corporation Tax and VAT
Experience with Dynamics 365 Ability to communicate with all 3 levels of business
Excellent leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills Experience working in airports (Advantageous) Commercial awareness
