An AIM listed retailer is looking to hire an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified financial controller. Working closely with the CFO and managing the finance team, this role will ensure the company's finance function is running effectively with robust controls in place. You will be a key member of the management team, working closely with the Board to develop the businesses and drive through change, providing strategic and operational financial leadership.
You will be responsible for the financial oversight of the business, providing strategic direction of the finance function of the group. As well as being responsible for the production of monthly and annual PLC reporting & auditing, preparing all financial statements, management accounts, cash-flow forecasts.
You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, with a proven track record in a finance leadership role, ideally within a similar sized AIM listed SME.
This is a pivotal role and vital to the future success of the business and will work closely with the owners in driving the business forward.
