Client Manager

Modern Accountancy Practice are seeking a Client Manager to join their team and oversee a portfolio.

Your new firm
A modern two practice accountancy firm with two offices across Greater Manchester are looking to appoint an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant to join either their team in Wilmslow or Manchester as a Client Manager. The firm offer a range of accounting and tax compliance and advisory services to entrepreneurial owner managed businesses across the UK and Europe.

Your new role
As a client manager you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients where you will be hold the client relationship and delivering all their year end accounting and tax services.

Day to day duties will include preparing and reviewing year end financial statements and corporation tax computations and preparing ad hoc management accounts for your clients. You will be liaising with clients on a daily basis and therefore you must have a good phone manner and be confident fielding and resolving any client queries.

What you'll need to succeed
The partners are looking to appoint a ACA / ACCA qualified accountant who possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage your own workload. This is a great opportunity for a recently qualified accountant who has trained within general practice and is looking to gain more responsibility and ownership on a portfolio of clients. You must be able to demonstrate strong working knowledge of FRS 102 / 105a. Ideally you will live relatively local to Wilmslow or Manchester.
