Financial Controller

Heyland Finance are delighted to be partnering one of our newest clients, as they look to recruit a Commercial Management Accountant in a newly created role. Working for an established SME Manufacturing Group, the Commercial Accountant will provide less of a focus on Management Accounts and more on Financial Analysis, KPI reporting and system development.

Main responsibilities:
* Assist in improving internal controls and develop Internal Audit procedure of current processes.
* Assist in the development of the newly integrated computer system.
* Project Accounting, assessing asset spend & validity.
* Analysis of key data from across the Group to assist in management and strategic decision making.
* KPI Analysis & Reporting
* Provide ad hoc financial analysis adapting to the changing needs of the business.

Requirements:
* Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ Qualified by experience.
* Experience of working in manufacturing business
* Experience of business partnering (beneficial not essential)
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
* Experience of SAP would be an advantage but not essential.
* Excellent inter-personal, communicating skills

Reporting to a highly experienced Finance Director, this newly created role will place more of a focus on the operational side of the business and provide analysis across the group to aid strategic decision making.
This role would suit a commercially focused Management Accountant who is looking for an operational and project related remit. You will benefit from the full support from the Finance Director, who will provide you will the tools and autonomy to help you develop your role and visibility within the wider business.
