Finance and Stock Analyst

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently seeking a forward-thinking and analytically minded individual to join a well-established & growing business based in the Goole area as they look to strengthen their finance function with the addition of a Finance and Stock Analyst.

In this role you will be responsible for all site related inventory management functions:

* Adjusting differences in inventory and updating software / reports
* Organising and coordinating quarterly stock checks
* Analysing manufacturing variances from actuals to forecasting
* Producing monthly reports and deputising of some tasks for the site accountant
* Liaising with others on site ensuring processes are running efficiently
* Training staff making sure they are using software in the correct way
* Tracking any anomalies and investigating when required
* You will work closely with many different departments to ensure accurate stock levels are maintained to support efficient running of the production departments and on time customers deliveries through a coordinated approach to prevailing business needs

Person specification:

Have a friendly and likeable personality with the ability to communicate effectively

You will be comfortable looking for ways to improve processes and introducing new methods of working
SAP experience - desirable
