Finance Director 

Salary £110,000 to £140,000 depending on experience plus discretionary bonus

Office Location: Andover

This opportunity is with a market leading and uniquely positioned fast growing specialist construction company in the leisure industry. Our client has recently benefitted from the appointment of two heavyweight non executive directors to spearhead the business’ drive towards a significant liquidity event.

The intention is for the business to grow internationally to a £50 million valuation within 3 years.

Highly innovative, and building on 12 years’ growth as the market leading provider in the sector, our client is a dynamic and fast growing enterprise and grew 300% in 2021.

The role is pivotal. As the Finance Director, you will work closely with the Managing Director, Board and senior management team to define strategic vision and direction and manage income and value drivers.

Your input as a member of the Board will be to keep firm control of cash, finances and reporting during a period of rapid growth. You will demonstrate commercial acumen and drive change as the Finance Director.

Heading up the finance team, your forecasting and management skills and your experience of producing actionable information from a variety of sources will be crucial.

As the Finance Director you will:

• Hold a recognised CCAB accountancy qualification or equivalent
• Have worked in an high growth organisation
• Have worked in a senior financial role (Finance Director or senior Financial Controller) for at least 3 years requiring hands-on involvement
• Have worked with SMEs in the senior management team or an autonomous division of a larger company
• Have experience in the management of HR and IT Teams

We are also interested in someone who has:

• Experience of construction, product or similar industries
• Experience of working with businesses in B2B
• Raised funds required for growth
• International growth across multiple jurisdictions and currencies
