Financial Controller and Strategic Projects
This innovative group has grown through acquisition and penetrating new markets. Due to a recent acquisition, the company is now looking to expand its group function by adding well-rounded Financial Controller to play a key role supporting Group CFO with group reporting, FP&A and strategic projects.
The role will also provide significant exposure to the senior management team, including the Commercial Director and CEO
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare monthly management information and analysis including commentary for senior management
- Strategic projects such as acquisitions/ integrations, process improvement, and initiatives.
- Ownership of the group financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting
- Accountable for the review and implementation of controls and procedures in line with future business growth
The ideal candidate:
You will need to be either ACA or ACCA qualified, preferably with a practice background before moving into industry. The ideal person for the role will be: a technically well-rounded Finance Manager with experience of group consolidation and budgeting, and experience of supporting senior stakeholders. Any experience of strategic projects and FP&A would be great but it is not essential.
This is not a dry group role as there will be plenty of opportunities get involved with the business units commercial/operational activities, therefore, the desire to add value and drive projects is also key.
