Financial Analyst

We are currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst to join a FTSE listed market leading organisation based in in High Wycombe. As Financial Analyst you will undertake a key role within management accounts and assist in accounting, budgeting and management reporting within your division whilst supporting the wider business to help continually drive efficiency and financial understanding.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of cash allocations for designated areas to achieve consistency in the reporting of group numbers and ensure that robust and accurate numbers are produced
• Prepare monthly cash reconciliations
• Update specific areas (actual spend in the period) for circulation to the CFO and other key stakeholders
• Support with forecasting and budgeting
• Assist the Senior Accountant with the preparation of statutory reporting disclosures
• Support the wider financial accounts team and other ad hoc tasks as required by management

Requirements:

• • Experience in a finance or management accounts function
  • Studying towards ACCA or CIMA
  • Fully computer literate and an advanced user of Excel
  • Experience with additional Microsoft office applications not mandatory but beneficial
  • Analytical with excellent attention for detail and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self motivated with a 'can-do' attitude
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively as part of a team
  • Resilient with the ability to work under pressure and at pace
