Divisional Financial Controller | £60,000 - £70,000 | Manchester
A newly created role to work with a fast growing Financial Services business based in Manchester. Working closely with the Finance Director and broader group, this role will be focussed primarily on implementing stringent financial controls and would be ideal for a technical accountant perhaps looking for their first Financial Controller opportunity.
Duties include;
- Implement stringent financial controls throughout the business
- Responsible for all regulatory reporting processes
- Ensure rigorous month end procedures are in place
- Ownership of all financial accounts including VAT, TAX, Balance sheet & stat accounts
- Assist with group reporting
- Develop a strong team through recruitment or training
- Manage the relationship for external audits
Candidate profile;
This role is ideally suited to a technical, practice trained Accountant who may have audited large complex Financial Services businesses prior with 2+ years PQE.
- Qualified ACA/ACCA preferred
- Prior FS experience preferred or large complex organisations
- Strong technical experience
- Prior staff management experience
