Senior Finance Business Partner (Part Time, Site Based) | £45,000 + suite of benefits | Barton Upon Humber

The Opportunity 

A rare part time (3 – 4 days per week) opportunity for a commercially astute Site Accountant / Finance Business Partner.

You’ll enjoy being the primary finance contact for the subsidiary / site locally – a key member of the senior leadership team and a vital finance business partner.

• It’s one of the UKs leading manufacturing groups – a highly innovative, modern-thinking and expanding FMCG business.  You need to be comfortable in a fast-paced continuous improvement setting where new ideas, efficiencies and positive change are always welcomed!
• Your role is a balance of management accounting, financial reporting and business partnering – drilling down into the costs, variances, controls and forecasts for the site.  You’ll need to be someone who loves working with operational colleagues across the site.

Your relationship building skills are critical…  you need to be someone who can apply common sense and commercial acumen to get behind the numbers and present a credible and clear summary of what’s being done brilliantly and what needs attention.

You’ll have great core accounting and analytical skills (you need to know your way around Excel).  You also need to be hands on and someone who enjoys getting stuck in with sleeves rolled up!

It’s such a great balance of routine and project work – lots of interesting challenge and scope to add value but also awesome work life balance (it’s a sensible workload which can be done over 3 or 4 days per week).

You will be:

• A confident finance business partner with a background within management accounting / financial reporting.
• Qualified (or potentially part qualified with great experience)
• Confident in a modern manufacturing environment in a site / factory based role.
• Someone with superb communication skills and an ability to work closely with non finance managers / directors.
• Confident in your core accounting and analytical skills.
