Our client, a respected Financial Services Group is seeking to appoint a Senior Reporting Analyst within the FP&A function to support strategic reporting activities and provide meaningful insight. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to play a critical role in a listed firm, supporting the strategic positioning of the business which is well positioned for future growth.

 

This critical role will be responsible for producing the financial papers for presentation at Board, Group Executive, and management meetings. You will be required to work closely with various business partners, key stakeholders and FBPs to monitor the group’s performance, and tracking business growth, highlight opportunities to enhance the group’s financial performance, and ensuring the group’s strategy is achieved. A critical role within the Finance function, developing and producing insightful analysis for the business, providing the analytical support to the finance team, and presenting results to functional and departments heads to highlight opportunities for adjustment.

 

The successful candidate will have 3 years’ experience in a FP&A or relevant role, degree, or AAT qualified and PQE (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) experience in management and performance reporting, and financial analysis. You should have experience of working with large data sets and finance systems to extract, interrogate, reconcile, and analyse data, highlighting variances and presenting your findings to management. You should have broader understanding of FP&A, financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. You should also be a willing and collaborative team player, ambitious and driven, with a positive can-do attitude.
