Group Financial Accountant

A high growth, global consultancy business based in the City of London is currently seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join their fast pace team. This role will play a key part within the Global Finance team, fovusing on the businesses EMEA and APAC entities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate reporting and analysis to agreed timeframes and in line with group policy
• Preparation of journals and account reconciliations
• Reviewing monthly revenue through working directly with individual practices
• Review of contract arrangements and WIP
• Prepare tax schedules for Corporation Tax and other annual tax related returns
• Lead audit fieldwork for International statutory audits and preparation of statutory financial statements
• Prepare VAT returns for international entities
• Supporting the rollout of new entities globally, including ERP testing
• Other project related work and analysis
• Process improvement and automation, to increase effiency and standardization
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, including cross functional and senior management

This role would be best suited to a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or similar). Ideally you will have around 2-5 years PQE, and have experience working for a management cnsutlancy or in a professonal services enviornment. Experience working in a global organisation, with multicurrency experience would be beneficical, with group consoldations exposure. Candidates must have excellenet ocmmunication and stakeholder manageent skills, and experience working in a complex environemtn with the ability to deliver to deadline and keep up in a fast pace environment.
