Senior Accountant | Kettering | £30,000 - £40,000

The Opportunity

Longstanding, professional and growing firm are looking for a talented, experienced finance professional to join their close-knit team as a result of continued expansion and acquisition. You will join a highly welcoming culture, where you will work collaboratively to provide all aspects of accounts prep, management information along with personal / company tax advice and guidance to a broad client base ranging from sole traders to £50m turnover groups.

You will work alongside highly talented directors who are approachable and progressive with a real focus on listening and taking input from the team, welcoming ideas, and valuing your opinions.

Your remit

You will ideally have recently completed ACCA or ACA (or have the equivalent experience) and have a solid foundation in accounts preparation in a practice setting. You will enjoy working in a collaborative team and enjoy working closely with clients. There is an extremely broad and interesting portfolio of clients that is continually growing, with a diverse service offering which you will enjoy exposure to all aspects of.  

You will need

• ACCA / ACA (finalist or completed) or equivalent experience within a practice environment
• Experience of working within a professional firm of accountants (accounts preparation and tax experience)
• Strong IT skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner to a broad audience
