Finance Manager

We are looking for an established Finance Manager/Company Accountant to join this family business with a long standing trading history. Reporting directly to the MD your role will be to report on all financial issues on a monthly basis and provide accurate management information. This is a great role for someone who is able to manage a small team and work autonomously. The duties of the role include:

• Lead finance team of 3
• Prepare and present monthly board packs including summarised P&L statement, balance sheet and cashflow statement
• Provide margin analysis and variance commentary.
• Maintain rolling 12-month forecast.
• Manage cashflow through weekly cashflow forecasts and review actuals compared to forecast.
• Prepare weekly KPIs
• Point of contact for all external stakeholders such as Tax Advisors and Bank Manager.
• Produce statutory accounts and manage year end process with external auditors.
• Prepare annual budgets.

This role is ideally suited to someone who can demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of management accounts and has a minimum of 5 years hands on experience. You will be a confident decision maker and able to present accounting information to senior management teams in a coherent and informative manner. The role could be full or part time to suit the candidates needs.
