Client Payroll Manager job Chartered Certified Accountancy practice, based in Edgware, North West London.
Chartered Certified Accountancy practice, based in Edgware, North West London. Established for over 60 years. They are currently a team of 20, which consist of qualified accountants, taxation, payroll, HR, PA & Admin. Operating from a lovely building which is spacious and a great working environment. Office hours are 9:30am- 5:30pm, Mon-Fri.
Acting as Manager of their Payroll Department. Assisting with a portfolio of over 150 payrolls for clients at a Firm of Accountants. 5 to 10 years + experience in payroll is desirable. Expert knowledge of payroll processing and auto enrolment is a pre-requisite. Previous use of Access payroll is useful but not essential (similar to Sage payroll software). Previous Practice experience is highly desirable. Must be able to cope with large portfolio of clients. Must be able to take responsibility for the overall running of the department and controlling the work of 2 part time payroll assistants. Use of excel is also a pre-requisite. Knowledge of bookkeeping and preparation of VAT Returns is highly desirable but not essential.
