Your new company
I am currently working with one of the largest and most successful Oils and Gas businesses in London. Due to their continued success, they are looking to hire someone into their dynamic and fast-growing team.

Your new role
In this role, you will oversee the pension fund of the whole company. This will give you a great opportunity to take ownership of all financial reporting activities across the Fund and its supporting organisations.

This role will include but will not be limited to:

• Fund Annual Report and Financial Statements

• Entity statutory accounting and reporting
• Financial regulatory reporting (selected)
• Accounting systems and accounting policies
• Control activity (selected)
• Tax activities (selected)
• Budgeting and associated reporting

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant with experience working in audit, you will be highly numerate, and will possess a highly strong technical skillset. You will preferably have worked a role in financial services and have exposure to managing teams in either a pension fund or investment organisation.

It would be highly beneficial if you have had any exposure to SORP, the management of auditors, and have worked for more than 5 years in a financial services business.

Behaviourally you will be an excellent communicator with a proven ability to think strategically adapt to evolving needs of the business. You will also need to be a highly effective team leader who thrives in a role that will allow you to develop and enhance a high-performing team.
