Interim Financial Controller

'Permanent' and 'Interim' or 'Interim to Permanent' for a Financial Controller in Bushey

Your new company
I am currently recruiting for a Financial Controller position based in Bushey. The new Director of Finance is looking for a permanent Finance Manager or Financial Controller to join his team and look after the month end and budgeting and forecasting process. Due to the Urgency of this recruitment, they would also consider an interim option too.

Your new role
As the Financial Controller you will look after the Finance function. You have have a team of 3 looking after Credit and billing, Accounts Payable and Reconciliations who will bring the accounts up to Trial balance stage.

Being a hands on role you will then run the month end process and provide the monthly board pack to the board. This will include commentary vs budget and an update on the cash flow. Due to the nature of the business credit control is a sensitive for ability to engage with customers carefully is key.

You will also lead during the year end process and also contribute to the Budgeting and Forecasting process.

What you'll need to succeed
My client is looking for a Qualified Accountant you has managed a Finance Team that includes a billing assistant and ideally from a B2C business.

Ideally they are looking for someone to start ASAP, so would prefer someone on 1 Months notice or less.
