Part Time Accountant

Part Time Accountant, permanent job in Wolverhampton £15-£16 per hour 29 - 37 hours a week

Your new company

Hays are working exclusively with an SME in Wolverhampton who are looking for a part time Accountant to take full control of their accounts for this £1 million turnover business. This is a 29-37 hour per week role, depending on the candidates preference working both in the office and remotely, offering flexibility on working hours ideally for core business hours.

Your new role
You will have sole control of the accounts from transactions through to management accounts. Duties will include:

• Purchase and sales ledger
• Credit Control
• Fortnightly payroll
• Pensions administration
• VAT Quarterly
• Completing management accounts to be reviewed by the FD at the parent company
• Reporting

What you'll need to succeed
You should have experience of transactional accounting through to management accounts and be confident that you could run this function on your own. You will need to have good communication skills to liaise effectively throughout the business and well as good IT skills including Excel. You should be organised and able to work well on your own initiative in a small team.
