This is a key role within the finance function, encompassing statutory financial reporting for multiple group entities and business partnering with international teams, supporting a range of projects and acquisitions across the organisation.

This is a key role within the finance function, encompassing statutory financial reporting for multiple group entities and business partnering with international teams, supporting a range of projects and acquisitions across the organisation.

Description

The Finance Manager will be supporting a fast-paced, highly acquisitive global SME Technology business which forms part of a much larger international group. You'll be responsible for the efficient and effective running of the accounting and finance function, the integrity of the general ledger, timely reporting to group, the timely preparation of statutory accounts and the filing of tax returns.


In addition, the Finance Manager will provide support to the wider business on tasks and projects outside of the core responsibilities.

Main responsibilities will include:

· Month/quarter end procedures and producing financial reporting pack

· Preparation of year-end statutory accounts for multiple entities

· Manage relationship with and output from external advisors

· Maintain monthly revenue sheets for recurring revenue streams

· Perform and review balance sheet account reconciliations

The role does not involve line management or supervision of reports, however this may become a possibility in the future

Profile

We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with:

· Prior experience in preparing statutory accounts

· Multi-currency and group consolidation exposure

· Financial analysis and problem solving skills

· Technical accounting experience under IFRS - IFRS 15 (Revenue Recognition) and IFRS16 (Accounting for Leases) - advantageous but not essential

· Good Excel skills

· Great Plains, NetSuite, Salesforce knowledge - advantageous but is not essential.

Qualifications:

· Full Accounting Qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) is required

Job Offer

In return for your commitment and desire to play a key role in a high performing organisation, you will receive an attractive salary up to £65,000 per annum, in addition to an annual bonus of 25% plus an extensive range of additional benefits.

Hybrid working: The role offers the opportunity to work from home 3-4 days per week if desired. There is also the potential to perform the role on a fully remote basis, with occasional travel to the Newbury offices.
