A large regional practice in Bristol are seeking an ambitious individual to join their tax team. Whilst a quality compliance service is a key offering the firm has also has a focus on delivering on wider advisory and tax planning and business advice and the right professional will benefit from developing their tax career with involvement in wide ranging tax planning projects over time, with career progression and development path on offer.


Your new role
Joining as a Personal Tax Semi Senior you will deliver a quality compliance service across personal tax for wide ranging clients, working with Managers, Partner and the wider tax group, as a key addition. You will be encouraged and supported to develop technically with involvement on tax planning and advisory work. Typical project work covers areas across capital tax planning, IHT, trusts, wills, property related tax advice and tax implications and planning for succession. Alongside this there will involvement in personal tax related advisory work as well. There will be a clear progression path on offer as well for the right individual seeking a route to carve a career path and progress in their tax career.


What you'll need to succeed
You may be any of studying, or qualified AAT, ACA, ACCA, ATT and/or CTA, or studying with significant experience in tax compliance, gained within an accountancy practice environment with at least three years or considerably more ideal experience to date. You may have focused your career within tax to date entirely as a Tax Assistant or bring a more mixed all around accountancy practice background so far, across accounts/tax etc with a clear, demonstrable desire to further your career and specialise within the personal tax field. You will be looking to further your tax career, within a highly regarded firm, where you can progress and develop within your tax career.
