Your new role

There is potential to mould the tasks around the background, motivations, and expertise of the ideal professional joining as Corporate Tax Manager based out of their Bristol offices. You'll oversee company tax compliance while also becoming more involved in a variety of corporate tax advisory projects. International tax and cross-border reorganisations are examples, as well as counselling a diverse variety of customers on all elements of corporate transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, demergers, and company reconstructions. In addition, involvement in R&D projects, foreign tax assistance, and other one-off project work delivering a wide range of business tax solutions may be possible. The role will be tailored to the capabilities and preferences of the suitable individual, while also providing the opportunity to further improve your advising and technical skill set with a clear path to advancement.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified and will have progressed through the ranks of Corporate Tax Manager with a corporate tax focused career background gained through a combination of in-house and/or accountancy practice firm experience. You'll offer a mix of compliance and planning skills, as well as experience in some areas of corporate tax advising project work and a desire to learn more about others. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects while developing your technical skills in a supportive team and office environment.
