Your new company

This leading chartered accountancy firm, based in Bristol, has undergone a large and sustained period of positive growth, which is expected to continue, and the position has evolved as a result of organic expansion, with the need to invest in the necessary experts. You will be entering at a pivotal point in your career, with the opportunity to carve out a niche for yourself within this well recognised team and organisation.

Your new role

The job will be diversified, with an advising focus, as well as some compliance and some client-facing work. As a crucial addition to this successful team, you will also benefit from a clear career path. Delivering VAT advisory solutions across property on transactions, as well as movements of assets with accompanying VAT advice, are just a few instances of the work you'll be doing here. Other examples include Brexit-related concerns, which are on the rise, including guidance on EU supply chain analyses and import/export scenarios, as well as a growing number of clients diversifying into various industries requiring VAT assistance and advice. You will have the ability to carve out a crucial role for yourself in this team and firm.

What you'll need to succeed

Your experience could range from a Top Tier firm to a Mid Tier/Top 50 firm, as well as an independent firm. Alternatively, you may have worked in the sector and been exposed to a variety of VAT challenges, or you may have worked for HMRC as a VAT specialist and wish to transfer your talents to the accounting profession. You are likely to have progressed to the level of VAT Manager and are looking for a new opportunity to advance and build your career.

What you'll get in return

Clear progression on offer with superb career opportunities supported with personal and technical advancement. £48,000 - £58,500 dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits and additional bonus schemes.
