Interim Finance Director - Charity

My client is a high profile NFP/Charity organisation based in North Bristol

Description

As Finance Director, you will be fully responsible for the overall finances and Governance of the organisation.

You will report to the Chief Executive and will manage a team of c 4 staff.

You will have a high level of autonomy in this role and will ensure that all the appropriate controls and processes are in place to safeguard the monies.

You will ensure that all budgets are set and in place for the year ahead and that these budgets are adhered to by senior stakeholders.

You will foster a Business Partnering ethos throughout the organisation and ensure that all non finance staff are given adequate support when required to manage their budgets.

you will be responsible for the timely production and presentation of Board reports to the Board and Trustees.

You will ensure that the annual accounts are produced to a high standard and that all questions from the auditors are answered where required

Profile

Ideally you will be a fully qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA

If you have charity or NFP experience that would be advantageous, however we will consider candidates from out of sector.

You will have Board level reporting experience

You will be a good people manager

You will have excellent communications skills both written and verbal

Job Offer

An initial 6 month interim assignment

Potential for temp to perm

Salary c £300 - £400 umbrella company or £250 - £330 per day inside ir35

hybrid working - 2 - 3 days per week at home
