Part-time Accountant

We are delighted to be supporting an organisation in recruiting to the exciting and newly created opportunity of Part-time Financial Controller / Finance Manager. The organisation is embarking on a period of growth and we are seeking a Qualified Accountant to join the team on a 3 days per week basis to support their operations in Stowmarket.

The team is led by a high calibre set of Directors with expertise in their sector - they have exciting plans to build the team and need a capable and qualified Finance resource to report into the Finance Director. T

The day to day accounting is managed by an experienced bookkeeper with knowledge of the industry.. Your role will include much of the following:

• Assistance in preparation of monthly reporting pack (P&L, B/S and cashflow)
• Assistance in preparation of quarterly reforecasts and budgeting process (P&L, B/S and cashflow)
• Review and maintaining the reconciliation of balance sheet account
• Ensure robust systems and processes to meet the growth
• Liaising with accountants for year stats and tax comps
• Supporting other team member during holidays and period of growth.
• Supporting on commercial activities in the business i. contracts, supplier reviews
• Supporting CEO on adhoc projects and commercial decision making
